MENLO PARK, CALIF. – Betterworks, the leader in modern performance management, has won two 2023 Workplace Culture Awards. Betterworks made the top lists for “Best Company in the Bay Area” and “Best Company Outlook,” selected by Comparably from tens of thousands of companies they rate annually.
“Our company culture is something we’ll always take great pride in at Betterworks,” said CEO Doug Dennerline. “The optimism from our employees reflected in these two honors, and several other Comparably Awards last year, is reassurance that our people are thriving in the workplace and contributing meaningfully to our greater vision together.”
Winners of the Comparably Workplace Culture Awards are compiled from over 15 million ratings across 70,000 companies in the United States, with the final list derived from employee ratings from February 2022 through February 2023. The awards are based on sentiment feedback provided by current employees, answering structured questions that span various different workplace topics. Each answer is given a numerical score and compared to companies of similar size.
The rankings for “Best Company Outlook” are based on how confident employees are about the future success of their company, how likely they are to recommend working there to a friend (eNPS – employee Net Promoter Score), and if they’re typically excited to go to work each day. The “Best Company in the Bay Area” award is determined based on how employees in specific metropolitan areas rate their overall workplace experiences in 16 different metrics like compensation, leadership, co-workers, work-life balance, career growth, perks & benefits, and others.
